To be honest the only people benefitting from the mandates in place are the unvaccinated not traveling. If you're more at risk and restricted from going to an event you might have gotten a fatal amount of rona at during delta or something like that the mandate made it harder for you to go and subsequently might have saved this hypothetical persons life.
