The Nazis were great about mandating medical experiments that have no safety data too.

The nazi's mandated thypus treatments and introduced the concept of the gesundheit pass (health pass) that the Hollywood movies ridiculed for 70 years.
If you ever wondered about it in those great propaganda films, when people were told to "show me your papers" that was a health pass.
