It’s not. Minimum wage should be for people that need extra money, like students. People like you think that raising the minimum wage to a level it shouldn’t be at won’t have consequences. It would, like for example, inflation and loss of jobs when low-margin businesses shut down because they can’t afford payroll. All actions have consequences.
