I’m in BC. No one here speaks French except people who work in government jobs.
English won. It’s the world’s language.
Even people from France mock French in Canada.
I don’t hate French or Punjabi people, but forcing three official languages only makes the political pool of candidates smaller since most Canadians only speak English.
Punjabi is an official language in Canada? I had no idea. French I get. It is almost a joke to me that High School in the US gives French as a language option to learn. Montreal is just trying to act superior is my guess.
Over time English will likely win out. I'd say this is such a minor issue that it's not worth pushing. We have better things to deal with than getting Quebec's panties in a knot.
Every single air traffic tower in the entire world MUST OPERATE IN ENGLISH ONLY.
English WON .win.

Punjabi is a national language in Canada?
When did that happen?
It is not.
Punjabi is not official that I know of... commonly spoken but not official.
I think I got taken in by fake news somewhere along the way. Stuff like this: https://www.trendpunjabi.com/canada-official-language-punjabi/
I could not find anything official. Either way, I still think Bilingual is a hindrance in Canada.
Since when is there 3 official languages? Wat.
