The mainstream social media companies have all become propaganda machines for marxist/leninist ideology aka leftists. They censor anyone who disagrees with the collective. Rumor has it that Monday on reddit they are planning on banning a number of subs that they don't like under the guise of racism which we all know is just an excuse to continue their censorship to gain control over the freedom of the average citizen.
I think it's important for every Canadian to boycott the mainstream social media companies and move onto social media companies that promote freedom instead of propaganda.
Here is the list I have so far:
Facebook - Minds
Youtube - Bitchute
Reddit - Ruqqus; omegacanada.win and thedonald.win
Twitter - Parler, Gab
What else is there? Also, if you have an issue with any of the websites I listed, please comment on why they're not good alternatives.
To get on Parler you need to provide a working phone number, your real name and then it encourages you to get verified by uploading an official government ID with your picture and a selfie attached that they (wink!) promise will be stored securely and will never be released to anyone.
To be fair, if you aren't using Whonix/Tails on Qubes while using the TOR network to communicate then your anonymity is already compromised. Obviously you shouldn't give away more information than you need to but conservatives need to stop hiding away from the public discourse and government and start putting ourselves out there and taking risks. We aren't going to beat the oppression against us wearing anonymous masks. We need to band together and fight. The more interconnected we are and visible, the harder to counter we become.
Compromised by the RCMP and CSIS is one thing, compromised by the general public is another.
Anonymity is critical when it comes to the internet because the internet is accessible to everyone and there's a lot of lunatics out there.
Would you write a controversial comment with your name, address and phone number on a piece of paper then stick it to a lamp post in Toronto?
Imagine doing that, but instead of few thousand people potentially seeing it it could be tens of millions.
There's some real fucking lunatics out there. I'll take my anonymity when it comes to the internet.
