The mayor employed a very strong online campaign and got the younger generation out to vote. That's why I say Calgary is on its way out. There's a solid group of older people with good values but too many young people have moved/immigrated to Calgary for better jobs and these people hold leftist values. This is especially true among the more educated or non-white groups. There remains pockets of people with their head on straight but they are few and far between. Usually they're the people who were raised in a small town in Alberta and then moved to Calgary, not the born and raised Calgarians.
