I am starting to think that everyone is going stir crazy. They want something to happen, they want to justify the past couple of months of lock down. So here they are, waiting and hoping for the second wave to justify their answers. The masking is their response to something that simply hasn’t happened, but they want to happen and believe that it will happen any day now.
