Here in Ontario, a bit south of Ottawa, it's fairly normal. Municipality is implementing the standard province wide mandate. However, the regulations are clear. Section 1. subsection 2b. Medical exemption. Section 3. Can't even ask you about it, just have to say OK Sir.
I was asked once in the local Quickie. Spoke the words, "Medical Exemption", poof the threat of global zombie plague disappeared.
Went to my local fish and chip shop. Owner was using mask to hold up his beard. Fishwife put hers on when I entered the store. No one ever mentioned me wearing a mask at this joint. They know me and what I think of all this shit.
It's good to live in a relatively sane community.
My next test will be the grocery and beer stores. These may be difficult.
Walked into my local gas station ( old world style, full fill, convos with the owner and his wife every time for everyone) to get propane for bbq and ice, in mask county in central Ontario. No mask. Completely forgot. No problem tho. Got my shit. Talked . And off on my merry day
