People who live here in Quebec are led by the nose by the corporate media (even more than regular Canadians) and generally don't question anything that comes out of the mouth of dear leader uncle Francois and his band of empty-headed ministers. It's pathetic.

The deaths per day is practically NIL right now, and new cases are all asymptomatic or just plain false-positives. The gov't is simply incompetent, and following the lead of other gov'ts elsewhere in pushing these asinine masking laws, for fear of being seen as impotent in the face of this manufactured crisis. The only reason uncle Francois pushed mandatory masking is because the brain-dead old cow mayor of Montreal was going to do it first, and he didn't want to be upstaged.

IT'S ALL POLITICS, at the expense of ruining social cohesion and trust. But they don't give a fuck about that. They need the tax revenues from the bars and casinos to keep flowing at all costs, otherwise how would their crooked insider friends survive without all the gravy that flows from the taxpayers into their pockets?
