Descendants of people who were essentially bred like work animals for a few centuries.
That's simply not true. At most slave breeders were active for a century, but realistically it was only something that became prevalent after the slave trade from Africa ended. We're talking three generations at most. Imagine a child born a slave, how long until he is mature enough to be profitable in the fields? That is a long period of feeding and caring with little return.
Then there is the idea that bigger, stronger slaves would be bred. Why? Why would you want a 6'5" slave with Arnold-like muscles? Why not just put a gun to your head? No, humans have never bred for that in our farm animals, why would we do that with potential rebels? Slave breeders, if they gave a crap at all, would have bred for "good enough" physical traits and servile personalities. Look at wolves, cows, horses, chickens, and so-on, we breed for characteristics that make them good working animals and most of that is temperament.
If you look at Kenyan runners, or black sprinters, what you will find is racial characteristics that confer some physical advantages. Race theory has some valid points, yes, but only when backed by actual scientific enquiry. The fact is that most high achievers are outliers, freaks of nature, and the vast majority of humanity is indistinguishable based on race.
