If I was going to put money on one class of drugs being totally banned in the future it would be benzodiazepenes. They are absolutely destroying people right now.
If you were to look at celebrities and only celebrities, I'd say it's wrecking as many of them as heroin if not more. Bourdain, Cornell, Lil' Peep and Bennington were all being medicated for anxiety at the time of their suicides. Aviici was on a ton of benzos when he killed himself brutally with a fucking wine bottle of all things (apparently when they discovered him it was ghastly.)
They have utterly fucked up Jordan Peterson too, he was on top of the world and then he fell brutally to the point where he's spent the past couple of years fighting for his life.
