I don't like telling people what/how/etc to think/speak etc or feel but my advice to you is simple:
Consider the possibility that Canada doesn't exist anymore (if it ever did is .. up in the air with our money, gold, resources etc) but remember that losing your COUNTRY is a grief process in itself.
This goes MORE THAN DOUBLE when it's tied to your personal identity, I compare it to losing a parent or child in a sense but more like losing the patriarach your family empire was a namesake FOR, but distant and kinda one of those "fringe family members" who floats on the fringes.
I mean kinda like a figurative mafia politician LOL!
Hopefuly once you've made it through the phases of grief, this crap won't faze you one bit; you're IN THE OMEGA PHASE! Anyone got a famous Fay?
The numbers are all made up and the scoreboard doesn't matter.
Good luck! It's okay to grieve for lots of different things you lost or were taken or crapped out.. Losing your national identity is very difficult, especially to conservatives.
I think I'm on to something with this, applying the stages of grief to a nation that has suddenly lost a tragic stalwart in their life? It makes sense to me but I'm crazy, on drugs, and a Nazi! Also I hate women and want to eject the gays into space.
I mean it affects us deeper than we admit though, seriously.
Anyone have any thoughts on that ?
