I think everyone should be judged by the content of their character, but in an alley with both approaching me I'd assume the guy on the left has the better character. (If that wasn't obvious) Or if both showed up for an interview I'd know one is wasting their time. (The right one if that wasn't obvious)

My apologies; please forgive me that I misunderstood. I posted late last night and on a reread I now realize that you're right: I do not believe we should judge a book by its cover, which is extremely true of people. The greatest philosophers in history such as John Locke or Sir Isaac Newton were no Adonises, yet they were extremely handsome in fulfilling their Telos.
