A 30% increase in death threats?
That's it?
This government is best compared to Valens. Their behaviour is unprecedented in Canadian history.
The Prime Minister reacted to a massive, billion-dollar scandal by taking a two-week vacation on a private island belonging to a family whose businesses he has also subsidized with public money. When he has his own private cottage and private lake, paid for by the taxpayers that he recently renovated with public money.
Catherine McKenna, in reaction to her own scandal involving tens of billions of dollars of public money got all indignant because someone showed up at her office to call her a stupid cunt in person, and is now on an anti-bullying campaign. She also announced a new program today to provide short-term infrastructure projects that will help the people get through the bat-soup affair. Featuring bike lanes, art installations, and WI-FI hotspots (note that those are all plans that would only be useful next summer if you really want to get pissed off.)
I am not a violent man, I do not believe that political assassinations are good or that they solve anything because they create martyrs but I am amazed that we've only had one lunatic go after them and I'm shocked to hear that there's only been a paltry 30% increase in death threats.
I've never seen people so mad at the government in my entire life and Canadians hate the government as a general rule.
They should count themselves lucky.
Pretty much. He also loves to cast blame on other people then reward them for taking the fall (see Gerry Butts.)
I still can't believe he got away with the blackface incidents(!) by claiming he was a victim of his own privilege though.
If he wasn't actively fucking up the country I'd almost respect him. He's just so slippery.

So Trudeau's solution to getting caught is to claim that he is a victim. That is the go-to leftist solution.
