Let's be real here, this experiment has been going on for 100 years now. We have a solid body of evidence.
Do I even need to bring up Kim Campbell and Kamala Harris?
Canada and US could have the same thing in common when all is said and done. We, as brother countries could both have their first leader (I know that PM is not our leader) be a woman that they didn't elect, who has suppressed evidence that would have allowed wrongfully convicted people to go free because they thought the revelation would be bad for their political career.
Does anyone have the stomach for another Indira Ghandi? A Margaret Thatcher? What about a Jacinda Ardene or an Angela Merkel? A Bhutto or a May?
In all the history of women Prime Ministers or Presidents I can't even name one who was good. Ironically, women have made some of the greatest Queens in history so go figure but as Prime Ministers they're uniquely awful.
I don't actually know how I'll vote in the future but I'll say one thing, I will never vote for a woman PM.
Oh ya. Benazir Bhutto was a pretty fucked up leader.
Imagine Justin Trudeau, but with 100 times the level of corruption and being a woman to boot heading up the progressive socialist, politically-inclusive party at a critical time in Pakistan's history.
She was executed the second she came back from exile. Standing up from the moonroof in her bulletproof limo to give her followers Roman Salutes as she left, on a day where there had already been a serious assassination attempt on her.
Pakistan has been a fucked up place ever since.
Women Prime Ministers. That gender does not have a good track record.
