I have been dropping the same truth bombs about Ontario earlier today. And yet redditors and people on twitter are terrified about DoFo opening up bars, restaurants, gyms and cinemas.
Now Ontario at its peak did have 1043 hospital beds occupied by COVID patients on May 5th. And 264 ICU beds occupied April 9th by COVID patients. So the problem was serious before. Since you don't want too many hospital beds, especially ICU beds wasted on COVID patients when motherfuckas are having heart attacks in the ER. So yeah you do need to flatten the curve. But we crushed the fucking curve.
Look at this shit: This is not from an anti-lockdown site. This is from the government of Ontario. lmao.

(Note: there are left-wing conspiracy theorists on twitter who say that DoFo is cooking the books to make the numbers lower than they really are)

From the Ontario government's website from an announcement back in April:
Ontario has a total of 20,354 acute care beds with a potential for an additional 4,205 more acute care beds by April 30, 2020.
So, no we weren't overwhelmed by COVID. Not even close.
