New parole documents show that Peter Alan Griffon, the convicted cocaine distributor for a Mexican drug cartel who made the fake RCMP car decals that helped the mass killer evade Nova Scotia police over two days, did so months before the shooting started. Griffon made the decals without permission of the owner of the business where he had been working.
“The workplace theft occurred in 2019. Charges are being contemplated, be they theft and or obstruction of a police investigation,” say parole documents issued Aug. 15.
