Vancouver will soon be all empty condos/homes owned by foreign investors and a permanent underclass of "untouchables". No working people want to live there anymore.
I had wanted to live there since going for work after the winter Olympics but it just didn't make any sense given the cost of life, low employment opportunities (in IT) and lower salaries for what is a highly sought profession anywhere else in north America.

That Vancouver sub is depressing. Every thread is about dangerous homeless crackheads. It looks like Toronto is heading down the same path.
