99% of black people in canada are very recent gen1 or gen 2 immigrants. I could barely tolerate something like this if the recipients had some connection to racism based oppression in the distant past here in canada, but they clearly don't. This is just straight up skin color based prejudice
Technically Canada is a member of the British Commonwealth. And many of our black immigrants came from British Commonwealth nations like Jamaica, Guyana and Trinidad. I disagree with this policy though because it causes racial division, racial resentment. It sends the message to aspiring white entrepreneurs who are struggling that when white people struggle, it's due to meritocracy, when black entrepreneurs struggle, it's due to systemic racism.

If you are against racism, why would you tolerate ANY race based law?
Canada does not have a history of slavery - in fact, Canada was a destination for escaping slaves from the US.
I hope you aren't one of those individuals who expect 21st century values to be present in the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th century.
