Another fuck you by the Liberal government to poor whites. The inherent messaging behind race-based subsidies like this is that if you are poor and black, it's because of system racism. If you are poor and white, it's because you are incompetent.

There's a reason why voter turnout for poor whites is very low. Poor whites feel like the Liberals give preferential treatment to visible minorities (especially black and indigenous people). And they feel that the Conservative Party sides too much with the wealthy. Even poor brown people and Asian people start turning on the Liberals once they brought all their relatives to Canada and they realize that the Liberals have nothing else to offer them beyond that.
