Especially now that fans are not allowed in attendance, cheering for your home team in professional sports seems pointless now. And with game tickets being expensive, it's not like it even really matters. And the concessions are way over-priced.
If the tickets were cheap and the hot dogs and booze was cheap, then going to a game would be fun.
I can appreciate the athletic ability of professional athletes, watch the games (though I'm getting annoyed with the black lives matter shit in my face) and play NBA2K but don't feel particularly interested in rooting for Toronto's sports teams.
Think of it this way. Think of all the blacks not spray painting/knocking down statues of white historical Canadian figures and think of all the Indians not having 200+ guest house parties while Raptor games are on.

Number of Canadian players on the Raptors: 3.
Number of Canadian players on the Celtics: 2.
The other team is almost as much "#TheNorth" as the Raptors are.
