The weird thing about this is that it's very easy to get a GP in Calgary. They have more access to doctors than anyone, you can get one within a week if you don't have one.
Try that in any other city, you'll end up on a waiting list for months, if not years.
Generally if I saw something like this then I'd say the doctor was either bluffing, or would be back within the year once she realized just how much the other provinces take from their highest tax bracket but this one is truly batshit.
She's friends with Notley and was gifted a very easy riding and she was blown out. That wasn't just from disenchantment with the NDP, she played a major role.
My guess would be that she's actually trying to get into politics in BC, blaming her humiliating loss on "ignorant rednecks not believe in progressivism" rather than her being batshit insane, and highly unpleasant.
It's no loss for Calgary, I'll say that much.
