"The investigation has revealed no evidence to show the acts against Michael Williams were motivated by his race nor that his death was the result of a hate crime," according to a statement from the Department of Public Safety.
You know there are other motives that people kill over other than just "He's black! Get him!", right?
Maybe he had something they wanted.
Maybe he owed them money.
Maybe he transgressed against them somehow.
Maybe they just killed him by accident and were trying to cover their tracks.
There's a million possible explanations other than "hate crime!".
Apparently the killer was recently featured in an Army ad where he and his wife were holding the baby she had while he was on deployment. Math not being his strong suit, it took him a while to figure out he wasn't the dad. He and his buds gave the actual father the "Baghdad Flying Carpet" treatment.
Even if ithe murder was motivated by racism and blind hatred which it likely wasn't, I'd bet my first born son that there are exponentially more black-on-white crimes in N. America motivated by racism. And they are rarely, if ever, reported in this fashion.
Most "news" outlets won't provide a racial description of a suspect when it's a person of colour. But have no problem throwing around the "white" descriptor at every possible opportunity.
If they had evidence of this crime being racially motivated you can be sure it would be explicitly and repeatedly shoved down your throat, instead of the pathetic insuation that some second-rate CNN hack has cobbled together.
