A coworker of mine showed me a picture he took of a magazine at our local LCBO. I couldn't believe my eyes. I've sent them a complaint:

This ad (link above) looks a lot like Communist propaganda! (Examples attached)

Especially with the slogans "We're stronger as a collective" and "Ransack The Universe." My tax paying dollars are funding this barbaric garbage?! My grandparents fled Hungary to escape Communism. It has killed so many people. Are you familiar with the Holodomor? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor I find it horribly ironic that a beer company is using Soviet style ads when millions of people died of starvation. I don't want my taxes going towards advertising and selling such filth. I want this beer removed.
The next page describes the artist as a basic commie too. Maybe I'm turning into a Karen but my patience for this shit is running really thin.
Reminds me of fascism actually - fascism apparently derives from the idea of a bundle of sticks, which are weak individually but together are strong. Sounds very similar to "We're stronger as a collective".
Both communism and fascism have similar ideological roots - both are collectivist; fascism was historically nationalistic while communism was historically internationalist.
We will rue the loss of individualism once it is gone.
