Good point. Imagine these leftist climate alarmists surprise when they find themselves subjected to a social score, websites blocked, having to ask permission to move to another city, be evicted with no recourse when the government needs your land to build something, etc.

Wouldn't call that capitalism, myself. There is no real private property if they're able to come in and take whatever they want for noncompliance.
