I'll always cringe when Conservatives say that MLK would be on their side today. MLK who described himself as Socialist Democrat and demanded not only reparations for black people but also a special status akin to vets for black people.
Good thing most people only remember his quote about being judged by the content of his character and not the colour of his skin...
