Typical NDP, love to talk a big game then no show when it’s all on the line
Of course not. Jagmeet is basically a liberal who will just become a liberal senator one day. He's run the NDP into the fucking ground and done everything Trudeau asked.
...and a weak NDP is Trudeau's strength because it means the gets all those left-wing votes that the NDP has hemorrhaged.
Seriously, at this point we should all be donating to the NDP if we ever want to get rid of Trudeau. He'll never be defeated as long as the left are as united behind him as they are. We need a strong NDP to split that vote.
They won't. They're a party of blue-haired lunatics, soyboys and terrorist-supporters. Their downfall mirrors the British Labour party giving up on the white working class in favor of urban voters.
Under Jagmeet they can't go anywhere and they don't want to ever pick a white person to lead because that's NAZI RACIST.
Good. Trudeau probably would have won a majority if an election were called right now.
More like not fighting a battle you know you can't win.
If we hand Trudeau a majority, that's it. We lose our ability to call an election again before the full term is up, and Trudeau is in power for at least another four years.
It makes zero sense to force an election that you know you can't win and will only strengthen the Liberal's position.
I'm not sure whether he's a coward or if he's just thick?
Jagmeet Singh breathlessly explaining to the press conference that he'd called about how he'd just secured the first federal sick leave policy was something else.
He legitimately looked proud of himself, like he'd accomplished something. I actually think the dumb cunt thought he'd got what he'd requested.
He obtained a promise from Trudeau to address the issue with a bill after they support a confidence motion and Trudeau already has a full set of legislation good-to-go. When does he think this is happening? April?
That's even if it happens. He's had at least two "progressive bills to help the poor" shot down because they intruded on provincial autonomy and the premiers said no. What are the chances that happens again? 98%? 99%?
I'm not ruling out him being conniving enough to know the NDP are short on funds should there be an election, and craven enough not to seize an opportunity but I'm not even sure if the stupid prick has that in him.
What a dumb cunt.
Not just the liberal media. Don't forget that the Conservatives hired the snake called Kinsella to smear Bernier.
Invest anywhere but Canada.
A throne speech followed by a confidence vote is part of the drill for opening the new session of parliament in the fall. It happens every year. They just didn't matter in the previous four years because the Liberals had a majority making the confidence vote part moot (since there's no way they could lose the vote).
Oh, and the Conservatives are voting against the throne speech. How is that "in lock step"? WTF else do you want them do?
Assuming I got investments... I'm staying and fighting for as long as I can. I'm 24 with very little to my name too. Only thing I could do is try to get hired into this other factory. They have plants around the world including the U.S.A. If I got in they they could help me get my U.S citizenship. That would leave my current employer high and dry though. We've had guys quit over this covid bullshit. My current job doesn't pay well but the boss has been very outstanding and I've only been with them for a year and a half. Many bonus checks and vacations handed out. I think back to my family.
My grandfather and grandmother on my dad's side fled Hungary in the late 40's and 50's. They fought tooth and nail to make something of themselves here. My grandpa was busting concrete floors with a sledge hammer up in Ottawa as his first job. He didn't know a lick of English at first. My grandmother was lucky to know a bit of french and she got into tobacco. Later on my grandpa got into the same tobacco farm as my grandma and the rest is history. The little I have heard about Hungary is that it's doing fairly well right now. I bet they are rolling in their graves. Seeing this Country they help build turn to shit as the country they fled sort itself out.
We are going to need good people to help rebuild this country. That's why I choose to stay.
The throne speech followed by a confidence vote happens at the opening of every new session of parliament. There wasn't some conspiracy between the parties to hold a confidence vote and have it fail. They have this vote every year. It's only newsworthy this year because it's a minority government, meaning there was a chance the confidence vote could fail.
Honestly, the LPC and NDP are pretty much the same party, it just whats in flavor at the time of election. When the lib have too many scandals, it swings ndp, then after a while it swings back to liberal.
The leftwing feminist and soyboys will vote ndp or lib, never con. Immigrants will always vote liberal. This is the majority of canadians, weak sheep.
