Lately I have come across several strong conservative voices for right wing politics in the United States. Steven Crowder. Ben Shapiro. Charlie Kirk.
These are people who use rational, fact based arguments to support their ideological positions.
What are the Canadian equivalents?
Whenever I examine the landscape here in Canada, right wing opinions get lumped in with the lowest common denominator of people, which is used to dismiss conservative ideology in its whole.
For example, if you don't support opening Canadian borders and the rights of citizenship to anyone who can make it into this country, you are a white supremacist.
If you disagree with leftist positions on Aboriginal Affairs, you are a colonialist.
If you disagree with equality of outcome and instead support a position of equality of opportunity, you are a racist.
If you agree with Jordan Peterson and his views on gender, you are transphobic.
Canada is making moves towards tribalism. We are not a unified nation. But what about those of us who have no tribe? Because, for the record calling me "white" is to actually racialize me.
I'm upset. My young son wants to be a police officer. I would like to support him. But i am very worried that he may end up wasting his time and never achieve a dream because he is a white man. I want him to have the same opportunity as a black child, sikh child, asian child, with the same intellect, strength and achievement of others to pursue and attain their dreams.
It's time to form a proper movement, one where stone cold racists who also supports these positions are not included. Where ignorant voices are not attributed to the status quo that we wish to keep, and the change we wish to make.
Pierre Polivere has my eye.
unfortunately the communist dogma runs deep in Chinada.. look what happened to Steyn
Ben Shapiro is Israeli cointel
Regardless how anyone feels about another person's beliefs, NO ONE has a right to eliminate another person from voting or participating in their chosen party. Right or wrong is irrelevant and keenly attached to individual points of view. We will never be able to agree on what is "racist".
That is why we vote, that is why majority rules. The overall Voter base is supposed to be the determining factor of the median rules that run this country. NOT the parties, NOT the Prime Minister, NOT some dickbag from a committee or university.
Through the marvelous gift of Trudeau and University propaganda many have been alienated and race issues have been severely exacerbated for the soul purpose of creating divisions and grabbing power. This is how we got in this mess in the first place.
Your last paragraph is an example of creating your own tribe. Each person has the Right to their own opinions and views but not to police that of others.
Tolerance runs in all directions, not just one.
Remember what happened to the Bernier and the PPC? The problem is they will include themselves and the press will be more than happy to let them.
I wouldn't think too hard about the details. The globalists don't actually believe 'diversity is a strength', they know it destabilizes nations, that's why they are pushing it!
Canadians are not taught in school about the concept of liberty and personal responsibility. They are increasingly not taught these things at home either. That's why universities are filled with kidults who cannot actually succeed in a serious field like science and engineering.
They lack the discipline required to learn and apply complex concepts. The universities are OK with this - they could give a shit whether you can find a job with their degree/toilet paper, they just want to keep selling them for as much as possible. Thanks, unlimited public loans!
Unlike the USA, which had a culture of self-reliance and self-made success, Canada was the little brother of Daddy England that left home at 35 and can barely hold down a job. His mom (the Queen) even owns his house.
