It's fine, I know reputable sources don't change people's opinions. But just so you know anyone who seriously claims that masks don't work is a total dipshit
I must have missed when I said crocheted masks were acceptable ?
I did see one at work though. Felt bad for the old dude his wife definitely made it for him. But generally there are standards, as would be the case for the studies.
You don't understand how dumb people are. That is Alyssa Milano a multi-million dollar celebrity with access to the best medical advice on the planet.
There are no standards for the general public. They literally said (meaning mostly politicians, but also the political doctors) you could wear any fucking thing on your face.
The idea that a hood-negro single-mom high-school dropout who got pregnant at 14 can sew-up an effective mask out of a kitchen dishtowel, slap it on her 3-year-olds face and stroll her fatass through Walmart in her mask & shitstained jogging pants and it somehow makes anybody safer is fucking absurd. Mommy can barely keep her 3-year from have a screaming fit and shitting on the floor in aisle 12.
Masks are pure politics designed to keep stupid people in perpetual fear of the virus. It even says so on the WHO.
You have a point, there are definitely dumb people who don't bother to understand the science of masks - but effective (disposable are the easiest to come by) masks do indeed prevent droplets from being expelled from your lungs. Homemade masks are iffy at best, but there are some that would work, using standards like these. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/how-to-make-cloth-face-covering.html But yeah, generally people should just buy disposable masks they're cheap af.
