Pumpkin on its own isn't sweet. I add pumpkin to my chili all of the time. Most people when they see pumpkin they think of pumpkin spice, but really pumpkin is a very versatile item.

Never thought of using pumpkin on pizza. Interesting idea, will have to give this a shot.
