Anyone else noticing a change today? Usually the pro lockdown people have dominated over the past year, today I seen people who generally aren't political make posts, fed up with Doug Ford.

  1. Make the barrier to enter leadership race extremely high thus reducing grassroots anti-establishment types chances of entering race
  2. Give most of the media coverage to O'toole and Mackay, starve Lewis and Sloan of coverage except negative attacks
  3. Media makes CPC voters believe the race is between Mackay and O'toole. Thus no need to waste your vote on the 2 anti-establishment candidates.
  4. Voters now forced to choose between 2 globalist assets (who are both Harper guys). Mackay is the choice to move the party to the left openly, O'toole is marketed as the compromise candidate, says he won't move the party to the left (a lie).
  5. Voters choose O'toole to 'stop' Mackay. O'toole now moves the CPC the way Mackay would've moved it anyways. Sloan purged from CPC.
  6. O'toole now an easy opponent for Trudeau. Worst case scenario is O'toole becomes PM in an ineffective minority government and still does the globalists bidding. O'toole still stays on as leader in an election loss scenario. He has support of most MPs, and will say Canadians need more time to get to know him or blame the CPC platform for not being centrist enough.

O'toole has to go otherwise he's going to hand Trudeau a majority. I think most of us here thought he'd be a slight upgrade over Scheer, current trajectory says otherwise. BEST case scenario is O'toole still holds Trudeau to a minority, WORST case is a majority government for Trudeau. I see no way O'toole wins a minority gov. We gotta find a way for O'toole to get the boot, contact your local MPs or the party organization tell them you are pissed off. We gotta get someone else in there, Leslyn Lewis or Pierre, or whoever else can do the job.

Other than Pierre, they've been useless. O'toole has been in since August, he's barely heard of in the news, his social media presence is lacking. While I hate the democrats, they attacked Trump relentlessly throughout the pandemic. They didn't just disappear. The only thing I can think of is pollsters/focus groups convincing the CPC to go light on Trudeau because of the optics. Sure Trudeau would've still passed whatever he wanted to, but at least the CPC could have the attention of attempting to stop some of this madness.

For far too long conservatives have resisted using those terms because they wanted to take the high ground over the left. The right is 'too good' to use those extreme terms. Well clearly the left calling the right 'fascists' has been extremely effective, even though their actions are far closer to fascism. The left is not playing by the same rules. I totally understood the idea the right had where it was thought the left using these terms would just make them seem crazier to normal people, but so far the results haven't shown that. The right has to switch up strategies. And is it really hyperbole with everything the globalist elites and their leftist pawns are doing right now?
