My son was working at his job and they have one problem employee who is a muslim. Last week he found out my son is a Christian and made note of it to him. Since then he has been aggressive and always gives him what my son calls "death stares". My son is a peaceful guy and thought to just continue being friendly and get along with everyone. Today that changed.
My son was left in charge and a fellow employee approached him in tears saying the muslim employee verbally abused him, threatened him, and called him racist. He was visibly shaken and he left because he did not feel safe.
My son approached the muslim who acted all innocent and said nothing happened and it was a lie. Then he smirked at my son and walked away. Later he approached my son and started verbally assaulting him demanding that he was in charge and my son would listen to him. He tried to start a fight and kept provoking my son calling him racist and a islamaphobe. My son stood his ground and called in management.
The muslim next lies to management and then freaks out on them as well and starts yelling at them. He was NOT fired. Management wants to give him another chance after attacking two employees and the supervisor.
My son does not feel safe returning to work. This employee always keeps his locker locked and today when my son was looking he removed the lock and just sat there staring at him. I told him and the other employee to not return, but work is so hard to find. I am a long time reader (since reddit), but have created this account to get some feedback from the crowd here. I feel the police should have been called, management doesn't want to "offend".
