I was watching this out of curiosity. I heard of this documentary a while ago and never got around to watching it. I noticed a few similarities and thought I'd share:

"1932 before Hitler came to power, there had been 270,000 suicides in Germany"

"Lawlessness, prostitution, smuggling and drug abuse had been widespread. German industry was virtually dead, with social welfare payments at a record high."

Fuck me if that doesn't sound familiar. THEN the people elected Hitler. After leftists, communists and WWI sanctions killed their economy.

Simplistic I'm sure but, who will be the first country to be forced to elect a Hitler due to globohomo policies? Hitler seemed to be a response to communism. The swastika was meant to be anti-communist.

I'm also aware this documentary is viewed through rose-coloured glasses. Strikes me as a plausible explanation as to why someone of sound mind would want to elect Hitler however.
