Incorrect. Typos are unacceptable at any decent law firm. Most lawyers with any self-respect and pride would be shocked to see any typos, let alone these typos. And continued failure by associates to pay attention to detail would be grounds for dismissal.
Enough with these Wokeists. They get their way because normal folks are too weak to fight, or uninterested in fighting, back. There are a hell of a lot more normal folks than wokeists. Yet they get their way because they are vocal. Time to fight back.
Not a bad summary.
Point 6: this is untrue. Many people get the virus and don’t get very sick and miserable, or even sick at all.
Point 10: this is pure speculation.
Point 11: the Great Reset and Build Back Better are probably just more empty, leftist slogans. We will see. But given Biden’s history he’ll like make the right noises but not really do anything. Whatever anyone else does is likely inconsequential globally, but will affect domestic economies.
It’s not retarded boomers people need to worry about. It’s all retarded people.
Anyway, this is such nonsense. And why does OP ask readers to debunk it? Throw out some ridiculous statements about military deployment, unsourced, and ask it to be debunked - well, how about first putting out something realistic with attribution to sources before asking people to debunk it? (As a side note, if it’s true I hope I can catch my flight on Dec 3! LOL.)
Fascinating numbers. Try telling this to a sheep and they’ll brush you off with something about a young person who died or lingering side effects.
(One note about the numbers: the link to numbers of deaths in seniors homes mentions deaths of seniors and staff. So the number of staff who died (which must be low) should reduce the 130k number.)
The oil producing countries in the Middle East must be looking at western countries hoping green new deal legislation comes quickly. This legislation would kill oil and gas production in the west and attempt to phase out oil and gas use. Yet, at some point folks will realize that is tougher than it sounds. So western countries will once again be dependent on middle eastern producers. And these Middle Easterners will be only to happy to fill the void. In fact, I’d not be surprised if KSA and others are funding the big renewable push.
I’m Canadian. I’ve left and entered three times. I’m off again next week for a month or so. Having done a fair bit of Covid era travel I can honestly say I doubt international travelers are much of an issue now. Many airports screen passengers for fever. Airports are empty. International flights are empty. Planes are being cleaned. To be honest, international travel has never been better. The only crowded flight I have taken recently was an Air Canada flight from Toronto to Montreal - it was packed! So if travel is a focus it should be on domestic travel. In addition, looking at the positive test rates in much of Canada, it’s not international travelers we need to worry about. The focus on international travelers at this point in time is like focusing on the barn door after the horse has left.
As I wrote below, I suspect most judges in Canada would likely accept a s. 1 argument justifying curtailing certain rights because of the pandemic. They would likely give the government the benefit of the doubt and allow the abrogation of rights on a public health or similar basis. I wouldn’t if I were a judge. But judges are largely not a conservative group. That would make sustaining any argument under ss. 2 or 7 very difficult.
Yes. The notwithstanding clause allows governments to pass legislation which would otherwise breach certain sections of the charter. It doesn’t give the federal government power to legislate in areas granted to the provinces.
Yup. If I were a judge I’d be very, very strict in interpreting section 1. But most judges in Canada would likely give the government the benefit of the doubt and allow the abrogation of rights on a public health or similar basis.
Proof that being rich doesn’t mean someone is smart.
