This affords me the ability to not enforce upper management covid policies, as well as several other bullshit policies that infringe on employee lives after hours. It's of my opinion that if you have to live on site for half your working life, no company has no right to dictate what you do with yourself after hours so long as you dont break the law and it doesn't put anyone at risk the next day. If your behavior does effect safety on hours. (Mr. Layhe your still fucking drunk) then it's understood between my crew and I that you will go back to your bunk and not be paid that day. Fair and promotes personal responsibility without infringement of YOUR personal time. Turns out when you provide an environment like that, the boys trust you, are honest with you, dont fight each other all the time, socialize, they have a few brews, they talk, they don't wear masks, and they are some of the greatest guys I've had the pleasure of working with. Yeah, I just finished having a few brews with the boys. Sue me lol. But even the pilot who flys us out here is comfortable enough around us to take his mask off. These same people, without any encouragement on my part, are all willing to give the PPC their vote. Keep in mind, I've made it known that I'm not committed until I see the next lineup of candidates and will make up my mind then. Still, I guarantee none of the boys are the type to spend time on forums like this, these are not weirdo lunatics of some fringe and obscure group with questionable morals. These boys are just regular working folks who love hockey and brews and good times. They came to their conclusions on their own, dispite the overwhelming amount of propaganda being thrown at them. They came to their conclusions by thinking for themselves without any influence from me or websites like this. This is a real world observation, and it flys in the face of our enemies and has given me hope that this country is not lost after all.
