It was a Reichstag Fire moment. While not an exact parallel, it will be used to consolidate power under the Democrats, to help solidify one party rule, and to enhance the security state while justifying turning it against their political enemies.

R/Canada is practically cumming itself about how great it is that this country is getting a minuscule vaccine shipment last week and how stupid the conservatives are and how lucky we are to have Trudeau.

It’s become a complete echo chamber at this point.

Easy. Canadians don’t have property rights. They are nowhere to be found in the Charter. Trudeau Sr was vehemently against adding them as were all of the premiers at the time, and now you know why.

The comments in the original thread gave me a fucking brain aneurysm.

And Canada is already there.

Canadians are absolutely retarded. We are probably the most politically ignorant populace of any of the democracies. We have no alternative media with any reach to speak of.

Most Canadians care only if things work as they “should:” benefits keep coming in, hospitals don’t charge any money, schools operate so that the parents don’t have to pay for daycare, and that the sportsball game is on.

Most Canadians pay no attention to politics or to substantive issues whatsoever, even around a scheduled election. Many don’t even know anything about the separation of provincial and federal powers and responsibilities, as evidenced by the sheer amount of people who raised autism program funding in schools to their federal MP’s in Ontario last year.

Most Canadians can’t even tell you what their fundamental rights are as defined in the Charter.

Canadians are willingly ignorant and an easily controlled population, a perfectly domesticated nation destined to be ruled by scoundrels forever.

A friend of mine once told me that she voted for conservative MP David Sweet simply because she thought his last name was cute and didn’t know burning about him or the party or the issues of the election.

Part of me wonders if they’ll be welcoming to foreign volunteers a la the Spanish Civil War when their civil war comes.

I’d be much more willing to fight and die for American freedom and liberty than for whatever bullshit ideology this country is framed around.

This was the moment when I caught on to the reality that Trudeau was a profoundly ignorant stooge and a dangerous man to have at the helm of our country.

It’s almost like they’re realizing they’ll never get him on the ridiculous first degree murder charge and should have stuck with manslaughter.

It started getting scary years ago, when the respective provincial governments asserted their right to force people into a contractual relationship (common-law marriage) based on how long they’d been living together, down to the week.

The war in Syria is over. It’s time for all of them to go home and rebuild their country.

It won’t be a trial. It’ll just be a first appearance. He’ll find out the evidence to be used against him and the Crown will possibly elect to proceed summarily or by indictment. A trial, if it ever happens, won’t be for months or perhaps up to a year.

The courts are dramatically backlogged right now, even before three months of suspension due to COVID19. He’ll probably just have the charges dropped if the Crown decides it isn’t in the public interest to proceed, which it clearly isn’t.

Well, he’s dead. He isn’t thinking anything.

But if he were alive, I’m sure that he’d be ashamed.

Is there any way to view the sub on an app like Apollo if already a member? I just get an endless loading screen.
