I got cut off from half of my family today. None of my father's side of the family will allow unvaccinated people in their homes or to any gettogethers. Had a long talk this morning and was told I'm bringing risk into their homes by being unvaccinated. When I pointed out they're all doubled-vaxxed and "protected", I didn't really get a good response, only that they can't risk me being there. The fear and paranoia runs so deep they can't think straight.
Got a bunch of hysterical reasons explaining why we should all be vaxxed and he didn't really care that Canada is becoming a fascist/communist/lunatic country where people have no freedom anymore. "People are dying" is all that matters. He even told me he doesn't think any of this is political at all.
They're all boomers, and they live to spend their money and do boomer things. Golf, going to restaurants or cafes, get together for drinks, travel, and do it all over again. Take this away and they're willing to burn everything down and salt the earth if it means bringing it back. Not a second thought for their grandkids or kids growing up in some nightmare police state.
I can't put into words how awful it is to hear my father become a shell of the man who taught me right from wrong. So many Canadians will never be right coming out of this shit. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Love your family while you still have them.
After passports fail to curb anything and another round of lockdowns are brought in this fall/winter, the Satanic vaxx cult will demand house arrest for the unvaccinated. Then they will demand quarantine camps. Then they will demand forcing vaccinations at gunpoint. Then they will demand extermination.

Federal Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole announced if elected prime minister he will require vaccine passports of all federal employees and for inter-provincial travel, however daily rapid testing will be allowed for those without one.
Under O’Toole’s plan, federal employees who cannot or will not provide a vaccine passport would be required to take and pass a rapid test every single day that they attend their place of work.
