They only ran a few candidates. A couple of places they came in second place far ahead of the NDP, others they ended third and not trailing the NDP by much. I haven't broken down all the numbers as it was late last night and I have to work early today.

Their biggest problem, as I informed one of their workers who cold called me weeks ago, was the name. As one specific unnamed person whom asked me when we were in a rural area and saw one of their signs, "Who the hell is the buffalo party?" "Well why'd they change the name? I didn't know who they were."

In all, this was one of the worst province wide elections I have seen -- not for turnout, but for attitudes. People that went were holding their noses when they voted because they didn't want to see an Alberta NDP situation here. Covid fears, lost jobs, and more are others. If you ask a lot of people right now I think they'd rather run a spike through any politician's head than vote for any of them. People as absolutely disgusted at politics.

If this is real and she's not just larping for some internet fame, what do you think she would do if she ever realizes that all the news she's been raging on until now is fake, and the real person that actually has been wrong until now is her?

I'd not want to cross a fisherman. They know where all the sharks are in the ocean.

In my immediate area there is three bars / night clubs and all but one is shut down. There is locals I got informed fighting to get the liquor and VLT licenses from the other two to setup their own places. Craziest thing is I got a chance to go into one of the closed ones the other day and it's like a time capsule back to March because it was decorated with St. Patrick's Day stuff in preparation for a big event that never came.

They seem to be an anomaly though as I hop in my car and drive across town or out into the country and all the other ones are open. Most of them switched from being loud shoulder-to-shoulder nightclubs to being more of a restaurant style pub/beer eatery with some fancy~fancy blinking VLT machines to gladly take your money. We're in Saskatchewan so strip clubs didn't exist here before the Wuhan.

TBH, I sort of like the new night clubs that have formed by necessity. I know that won't be a popular opinion though around here.

The real trick is separation of the salt from the frothing-at-the-mouth spittle that accompanies such collection.

For best results it is recommended to place those 10 liberals on to simmer. This is accomplished by taking away all their free stuff.

Coffee row has been talking about this here in Saskatchewan since rumors of it began spreading. It's various chatter from visceral hate for the President to love for the idea of a railroad.

My thoughts:

This could be the first step towards Alberta leaving Canada. Maybe joining the US as a state, or as a territory with autonomy like Puerto Rico. There was some attempts to connect the railways with the US a few years ago and I suspect it never went through for various reasons, namely US interests pushing against it. But with a connection to the US and a deal for carriage of goods across their borders, Alberta would be able to reach new markets so there's no need to remain a part of Canada. I'm still not sure about being beholden to a single country that could revoke this at any time but considering our two provinces are locked between others now that refuse ALL attempts to grow their economies and reach markets, this has hope.

Maybe the whole Greenland purchase thing was a businessman's deception. Maybe he is really gunning to get Alberta into the union.

There was a podcast I was listening to about a month back and the host was talking with some foreigners from somewhere in Europe (can't remember where) that had come over to visit family in the US.

They were utterly in shock at all the support President Trump was getting from people. Their news has been telling them for the last 3 years how wildly unpopular Trump is and how no one across the Atlantic supported him, and how his winning was just a fluke that will never happen again.

It comes as no surprise to me they'd think this. Just listen to a service like the World Radio Network which broadcasts news shows from Europe and Asia and see how different their news is. They're paying attention to the US the way a Quebecer pays attention to the going ons in Western Canada so the news can say anything and they'd believe it. Add to the fact their news has SJW content like mad and enough diversity to make a school teacher "oh"gasm from guilt. It's insane.

Hear hear..

As bad as this is, right now it's probably a good thing he is near them. It sounds like he could be suicidal at this point. If not for that I think he should be gone from that entire place and somewhere else to heal.

One thing's for certain, it's going to take decades to erase this damage from him and he'll never be fully over it. It's amazing to me how one event in life can completely ruin everything and destroy a whole family (a drunk driver killing someone, a false accusation, etc.)

White people are for the most part are nice people. Mostly because they've learned that becoming violent sets them and their society back. So when you wrong them, they'll turn the other cheek and keep going. But in their heads they're tabulating the people who've crossed them. So when something like a war or an insurrection comes along that threatens the safety and well being of their lives and their society, believe me they're figuring out who's causing the trouble and who's pushing the buttons. These groups like Qanon and so forth are that effort regardless of what the mainstream media tells you.

When it does get down to 'pew pew' like our man in the video says, it will be the swiftest and bloodiest execution of powerful elites, terrorist groups, and foreign agents working against the country in question because they'll all have figured out who the enemies already are.

What a big pussy ...

... cat. Man, that cat is huge. Uh? what were we talking about again? Well I'm sure there's no way possible that any person would mistaken anything I wrote as being about anything other than this large cat here in the building. Especially about some feckless loser mayor. Nope.

If I recall, I think they walked back on almost all of this stuff because there was a lot of developers associated with the kernel threatening to pull their work from the project. I don't know the legalities so someone wiser in this area can enlighten me. I think I even heard some chatter on some forums about forking the kernel although I don't know much about that.

I know Geoff and his family, but mostly Geoff as he usually happened to be there working when I came through town. Before I started running my own business I was working and travelling a lot between Alberta and Saskatchewan. Walsh was the town just on the edge of the Alberta/Sask border so I'd stop there just for a break very frequently instead of stopping in Medicine Hat. I like smaller places like that.

One time a few years ago he mentioned the Fast Gas across the way and him were at odds and I knew it was heated, but I never imagined it was this bad. I'm just glad it wasn't anyone else in their family working the day that crazy lunatic decided to do this. edit: I just found out that he went after them as well. Insane.

Throw the book at that psychopath.

Oh goodie. The Canadian Wheat Board II.

Just what every farmer was asking for.

Alberta needs to get their own provincial police force in place sooner than later. Then they need to discuss separation.

These clowns think they're just going to go into the suburbs like they did the city cores with no pushback.

They have no idea what they're about to unleash.

Some of my dad's friends are really scared of getting Covid. Especially one who has bone cancer. They're against the idea of closing schools any longer.

The only ones that seem like they are screeching about schools being closed longer are actually the teachers. I suspect they are being paid regardless of if the schools are open or not. Perhaps it's time to stop that and see how long the schools remain closed.

Alberta and Saskatchewan still have some sanity. But it depends on what the people watch. If the people are watching the MSP (main stream propaganda) they're losing their minds over covid and Donald Trump. Many others though around here have figured out the news lies.

Though it's really hard to say what will happen around here in the future. One thing everyone agrees on: They hate Trudeau. Before the covid lockdowns I know we were heading towards western separation very fast with Scott Moe wanting to hold a snap election back in about March to survive defeat at the hands of the Wexit party before they got official party status. Now it's hard to gauge opinion because many of the people have been thrown out of work and are living on free money from the feds. The next provincial election is coming up soon and the Wexit Party Saskatchewan has a full roster of candidates. Has the anger over Trudeau turned to fear over covid? We shall see.
