If it costing you money I would treat it as a risk/benefit similar to a speeding ticket. Checks do happen but a warning usually comes first, someone correct me if I'm wrong but in all of Canada only a handful of actual fines have been given out total.

I usually like the work that the Justice Center does but my opposition to this bill is lukewarm. The three points:

-No warrant to enter LTC homes, airports, and homeless shelters (who cares?)

-More power to pass health orders outside of public health emergencies (this is fine, if they do something stupid like mandate masks the people will respond during the election or through non-compliance like we already do)

-Private medical info can be released to the police until Dec 21 2021 (Only part that seems to be an issue, remove this and the bill is fine)

Do not let them have it both ways. They just claim this is the case and offer no proof other than their say so to back it up. If anyone tries to pull this BS demand peer review, there is none to support this half baked hypothesis so they will try to slither out of it with anecdotes or hand waving. Keep pressing them for scientific evidence for their theory and it will crumble.
