Trudeau, O'Toole, Singh, etc. have all put their support behind lockdowns, vaccine passports, police state, etc. Everybody knows these are ineffective and destroy lives. Therefore, anyone in favor of implementing these must be a) compromised and/or treasonous, b) highly incompetent.
Since Maxime Bernier is the only politician in charge of a major Canadian party who opposes lockdowns, he is logically the only uncompromised / competent choice, and therefore the only choice.
