I think they panicked. Their original plan was to steal votes using the Dominion machine's software. After the software couldn't keep up switching enough votes, they stopped the election when Trump had the lead, and restarted counting hours later with their fraudulent mail in ballots. Trump's massive turnout and lead was so great that the software couldn't change enough votes within reason. And now they got caught with their 'glitch', which they now claim is human error. The 'glitch' is obviously written into the programming code.
