They are counted by hand and the result of every polling stations is entered into a form on the elections.ca website by the election commissioner of a polling station. You can even look up the result of every polling station. No machine is used to count any votes. And every party has the right to send a poll watcher to watch the hand count.
Do you really think that if there would be irregularities between the hand count and the entered data on elections.ca, that the CPC or the PPC wouldn't say a word?
But not the NDP, which got a substantial amount of votes.
And as far for federal elections, all ballots are counted by hand and every party can send someone to watch the counting. If there were any irregularities between the hand count and the votes which show up for every riding on the official election website, then the CPC (or at lest the PPC) would already have thrown a fit about it.
Ballots in federal elections aren't counted by machines. They are all hand counted. In Canada at least.
They get tabulated on computers at some point.

Calling Bernier a whore on this forum might be a risky move.
But Dominion isn't involved.
Though on a provincial level some provinces use Dominion machines to count the votes, like in Ontario. Mabye Ford was installed by Soros.
