I've heard the same inflation theory after the recession in 07 and 08 when Harper was PM. Nothing happened.

Same goes to the US. The US borrowed trillions and trillions under Obama and inflation didn't go up. And now under Trump they are borrowing even more money.

The US has the privilege of being a reserve currency. Canada does not.

We have the privilege to be next to the US with an economy that is so far entrenched with the US one, that we're practically one country. Our inflation rates are even synced up.

An inflation rate of 0.7, which we currently have, is absolutely nothing.
