a) Unfortunately things aren't "progressing" that slowly.

b) It's never been implemented successfully so how could we possess the hubris and delusionality to assume it will work now?

c) Will the politicians, corporation owners, and the ruling class forego their extravagant lifestyles, wealth and property ownership, and join the rest of us plebs in the new We're-All-Equal socialist utopia? Like fuck they will.

Human nature precludes full bore socialsim from being possible. At least until we manage to evolve as a species. That doesn't appear to be happening any time soon given the monumental levels of stupdity, greed and selfishness that abounds in our society.
