Much better to have solitude out in the country side rather then your concrete and glass box in the sky.
No, because I live in Saskatchewan. Something like a cottage doesn't exist here.
Nobody in Sask wants a waterfront home. Because if there is water, then there are mosquitoes. And they will eat you alive in summer.
They are much worse. We have over 100,000 lakes and ponds in Saskatchewan and only a handful of people build homes on these lakes.

While I do not feel poor, I can’t say that I have ever felt wealthy. Everything has always required planning and saving. No spur of the moment purchases. Usually buy the cheapest version possible.
