It's pretty damning, but I'm also curious about what happened before this. It, like many videos, starts right before the police do something. They didnt just show up and grab him randomly. How long were they calling to him to come off the ice? Was everyone out there and came off and started filming and he refused? I do know that walking out onto ice vs someone on skates and grabbing at him and throwing a kick towards him and risking themselves and the teen(?) slamming their head into the ice is definitely not the way to handle someone outside playing fucking hockey in this fake pandemic. Its definitely not trained tactic for security and police and others that have to deal with people physically. Threatening to tazer unarmed people that are not committing any threatening action is also extremely fucked up.
The colour of his skin was the biggest factor in this you need to keep that in mind at all times. This is another clear message in who, what, where and when.
Looks like him and his friends where out for a skate and was ViOlAtInG MuH pUbLiC hEaLtH oRdErS. Cops told them to clear out, he showed some backbone and the cops got violent.
I suspect it’s mostly due to not cooperating. The fundamental reality when dealing with cops is that they have the power, and if you don’t submit to that power they will escalate with force until you submit to that power.
Makes you wonder, and one of the hockey players should have asked: Are you willing to escalate this to using deadly force? Think about this. There are 2 of you and 4 of us.
