Inb4 Dougie Ford does the same.
Sometimes it's a good feeling to live in Bumfuck Nowhere, Saskatchewan.
Ahh Tisdale, the land of rape and honey!
Move to these town and not between those towns. All these even smaller towns around these bigger ones (and "bigger" is generous since Tisdale, Nipawin or Melfort have around 4000 to 5000 people) are just failing meth labs. Towns like Codette or White Fox nearby are filled with 90% boomers (or older) with the kids long gone.
cases, cases, cases... More cases with the useless PCR test... Meanwhile deaths continue to be on part with a normal flu season.
I can't believe people are buying this nonsense
Complete clown show.
Military is going to be on the move around April. If the rumors of internment camps, curfew, and checkpoints being set up are true then its going to be martial law. We've been hearing about the snitches and police raiding innocent people , well thats the type of thing that occurs under military rule. Next comes the inevitable shutting down of all stores and businesses. Is it only a matter of time before they shut down grocery stores too so they start rationing our food? Shutting off internet and phone networks as well perhaps? When that happens, it is official, its martial law and you are being held hostage by a tyrannical government.. Trust me you do not want to be under martial law it will be a horrific experience.
you can read books about what happens during martial law to prepare. What I got out of it was we pretty much want to become invisible and out of sight once it happens. Unless you are Rambo and prepared to die there is no chance of fighting them alone. Stay away from the military or police because they can detain anyone on a whim. If you can run away to the country side away from the cities and populated areas, now is the time. When they detain you they will put you in a camp, thats what internment camps are for. You also have to beware of goddamn snitches, they are everywhere, unfortunately thats just how some humans end up behaving in these type of situations. You really don't want to be subjected to a house raid. Also be ready to defend yourself when the time comes. Crime and theft become a problem under martial law because people have been displaced and are angry. The military is only their to enforce the curfew and restrictions not to deal with criminals or run courts. If their are children or female members in your family or circle you must keep them out of sight or be kept indoors at all times. There are many other dangers to know about with what comes under martial law. It is not a joke , the government has either gone crazy or has been totally compromised by foreign actors.
Bayonets in Paradise
It's about Hawaii during WW2 and how the islands were under a very strict martial law. Quite interesting to hear stories about Americans living under an American military dictatorship. Enemies of the state, in this case citizens of Japanese, German or Italian desecent, weren't allowed to move residencies, had to adhere to a curfew, weren't allowed to own guns, weren't allowed to gather in groups, had to turn in all flashlights, radios or cameras and were banned from certain areas.
It's a really good book about the consequences on constitutional rights and the civil liberties of a population under martial law.
I hate to say it but thats the grim reality of all this. The military will have full control of the movement of people, communications and supplies, they will be on the lookout for suspicious activity since they anticipate some form of rioting or retaliation, why else would they be setting up the camps for? The way i see it is if you can survive or escape martial law which people in the past have you can regroup with others elsewhere outside of their control. At least you'd be alive in one piece and have the freedom to go after them in a suitable environment. Its just going to be extremely difficult to do anything once you're locked down, theirs no lawyers , money, or supplies coming in under a military rule, you're stuck. The entire point of martial law is to make you a prisoner so theirs not much to do once its going.
I can't really recommend you a specific book because im getting my information from various history books and diaries of people who were under military occupation. How To Survive During Martial Law by Peter Jenkins looks promising. Try to also find literature from army vets who has enforced an actual martial law in foreign countries. Most recently though its been happening in Hong Kong. The people of Hong Kong actually did retaliate against Chinese take over. It's a sad story but the leaders of the resistance have now been detained and are being imprisoned for life as we speak.
Don't worry. It'll all be over soon. Eventually the government will run out of ability to borrow more money and start jacking up taxes. Soon they'll realize that no matter what tax rates they set they can't raise enough money because their entire tax base was bankrupted. The little that was raised will be worthless because hyperinflation will kick in from all the money that Trudy and the Bimbos printed to help finance the deficit spending. At that point we'll all look around and realize that we own nothing.
But we'll be happy. . .
Be happy that we don't have a "Conservative" Boris Johnson as leader. The UK will lockdown till March.
