This isn't just on diversity. There are Hutterite and Mennonite colonies out here in Sask where it's not uncommon to see a 15 year old girl getting "married" to a 30 year old guy. Same thing goes on on reserves.
The Eastern provinces (Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada) have the lowest rate of child marriages, despite having the highest number of new immigrants.
Of course I can’t access the actual study.
Ever notice that child brides are never hot?
Like, you never hear anyone say, "man, I really want to plow that Nigerian child bride".
