They are branded as white supremacists, but are multi racial and led by a black man (whose arrest before the capitol event was no coincidence)
One member back in December wore a shirt that said “6MWE”. Not the standard shirt. But this is used to label them as anti semetic. They have an Israeli branch.
They are being labeled as terrorists, but they have not killed anybody. They haven’t threatened to kill anybody. They are literally nationalists. They believe they love their country.
The objective of all this is to create a chilling effect. Prevent the organization of nationalist movements, of countering the existing ideology under threat of label of racist and terrorist.

And when you're any kind of group be it the KKK, Proud Boys or even just local militias or whomever, you're just a sitting duck for exploitation by these nefarious globalist forces.

I think they realized that your typical conservative isn't literally hitler or even a nazi so they need an organization from current year to associate and demonize people with.
I've seen some things that the Proud Boys have done that I think got WAY overblown, like the ones who went to that protest in Halifax and confronted the indigenous guy. All they did was express their opinion and they got treated like Nazis.
But then you have their founder, that moron Gavin McInnis saying everywhere that he likes to punch people in the face, and inciting violence and I get why people don't like them.
But, at the same time why do we need them designated as a terrorist group? What some of them do, inciting and participating in violence, is already illegal. Go after them and charge them. If there are people in the group helping them well accessory to a crime is a crime, right?
