This is fake news.

Think about it: He already handed over everything he's got. What would they gain from killing him after he'd already divulged all the info he has? Why risk the exposure of committing murder when there's nothing to gain?

At this point based on what we've seen in the US in their kangaroo court system and manipulated voting systems, I don't think they'd be too worried about something pesky like public opinion or lawsuits. It would be a good message to the masses too like 'You can't cross us ever'.

But yeah, it is fake news and thank goodness for that. Problem is something like this could easily be within the realm of possibility.
